Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This survey is run by Waytogo Consultants Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"), https://waytogoconsultants.com/. We are responsible for how the information collected through this survey is handled.

This policy applies to the survey at https://survey.workassist.in/voter-voice-up-elections-2027 and to the same survey when it is completed with the help of one of our field team members, in person or by phone.

2. Why we are doing this survey

The survey asks people about the beliefs, issues, parties and leaders that matter to them, and about whether they feel their concerns are being heard. Our aim is to understand the overall picture: which concerns are widely shared, which are being heard, and which are being overlooked.

We are interested in patterns across many people, not in what any one person thinks.

3. What information we collect

Your survey answers. Your views on issues, beliefs, political parties, leaders and how you make political choices. Some questions ask about past voting, religion or caste/community. These questions are always optional and always include "Prefer not to say."

General background (optional). Age group, gender, type of work, and your general area (district, city, PIN code or constituency). We use these only to group answers (for example, "respondents aged 25–34 in Kanpur"). We never guess your identity, religion or caste from your name, area or any other detail.

Contact details (optional). Only if you choose to give them: your name, phone number and/or email address. You can complete the full survey without giving any contact details.

Basic technical information. When you use the website, we may record the date and time of your response and basic technical information needed to keep the survey working and to prevent duplicate or fake responses.

Team-assisted surveys. If one of our team members helps you complete the survey, we record which team member assisted, so we can check the quality of our fieldwork. This does not change how your answers are used.

4. How we use the information

We use survey answers only in combined form, to produce overall findings. For example: "62% of respondents in Varanasi ranked employment among their top three issues."

We do not:

• Use any individual's answers to make decisions about that person
• Publish, sell or hand over any individual's answers
• Share your name, phone number, email or any other contact details with anyone
• Tell any political party, media outlet or other organisation how a particular person answered
• Use your answers to target you with political messages or campaigns
• Add you to any party's or campaign's contact list

5. Who we share findings with

We may share overall findings of this survey with:

• Political parties
• News outlets and journalists
• Researchers, academics and civil society organisations
• The general public, including on this website

What we share is limited to combined results, such as percentages, rankings, charts and summaries. To protect privacy:

• We do not report results for very small groups, where a person might be recognised. We set a minimum group size and no breakdown shown for fewer than required respondents
• If we quote a written answer, we remove any names, places or details that could identify the person who wrote it.
• We never share the raw response data in a form that is linked to a person.

6. If you share your contact details

Sharing contact details is completely optional. If you do, we will use them only to:

1. Invite you to take part in future surveys or follow-up discussions, and/or
2. Send you the findings of this survey.

We store contact details separately from survey answers. They are never included in any analysis, report or shared findings, and they are never shared with political parties, media or anyone else.

You can ask us to stop contacting you and delete your contact details at any time by writing to contact@wtgconsultants.in. Every message we send will also tell you how to opt out.

7. Taking part is voluntary

• You choose whether to take part.
• You can skip any question you do not want to answer.
• Sensitive questions always include "Prefer not to say."
• You can stop the survey at any time.

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or update it
• Ask us to delete it
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Raise a complaint with us and receive a response
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. Please note: once findings have been combined and published, we cannot remove one person's contribution from figures already released, but we will delete your individual record and contact details from our systems.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Age

This survey is only for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has taken part, we will delete their response.

10. How we keep information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including:

• Storing contact details separately from survey answers
• Restricting access to authorised team members who need it for their work
• Using secure, encrypted storage and transfer
• Keeping records of who accesses the data

11. How long we keep information

Individual survey responses: kept for a period of 6 years or more so we can compare results over time, then deleted or fully de-identified.

Published overall findings: may be kept indefinitely, as they contain no personal information.

12. Cookies

"This website uses only essential cookies needed for the survey to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies."
